For some unknown reason the view on my Windows Explorer changed and I cannot get it back the way I want it.
It currently comes up with the My Documents folder opened. The way it use to open was with My Computer and my C drive expanded and all the others collapsed.
How do I get it back the way I had it. I've set the window the way I want it and gone into "Tools", "Folder Options" and tried pretty much everything but still it goes back to opening with My Documents expanded.

Thanks for your help,

Ken

It all depends on what you use to open Windows Explorer.  Most ways of opening Windows Explorer open it to a predetermined location which you cannot change.
The only way I know of to dictate where it opens is to make a shortcut to start Windows Explorer.  In Issue #8 of our newsletter, Ray's Computer Tips (http://superwin.com/RaysComputerTips/Issue8.htm#tech), I explain how to make a shortcut which will open Windows Explorer to a specified location.
