When trying to delete a specific folder in Windows Explorer I got the following message: "Can't remove CAV05DJC. Can't find the specific file. Check if the input of the path and filename are correct." I tried to remove this file with A1 Click Ultra PC Cleaner but didn't succeed. Maybe I did something wrong. How can I get rid of this bug? |

The path of the file is not shown in the message. Now I think I downloaded the file from a website to create nzb-files. |

Go to start\ search and search all files and folders. It should find it for you, unless it is a hidden file. If it is hidden, you will have to change your settings to show hidden files in order to find it. |

I just figured that if you are using Windows Explorer to delete a file that you would know the path. That error can happen when the path has foreign characters in it and Windows does not recognize those foreign characters. There are other reasons too. That is why I wanted to know what the path was. |

Thanks, I followed your suggestions. But I still can't find the above mentioned file. When using A1 Cleaner I got a message that some files couldn't be removed. Maybe there is a connection. |

It is normal to get that message in A1Click, especially if you have Use Time Buffer checked in Cleaner Settings (which is recommended). The message usually is shown because A1Click tried to delete a folder that was not empty. The reason why it was not empty is because it had files in it which were used sooner than two weeks ago while the folder itself is older than two weeks. As time goes by and the folder gets emptied, it will be deleted. |

I can't delete a "New Folder" containing two files whose names contain special characters. I don't where they come from . Do you know how to get rid of them. They weigh some 4 Mb. |

first try to delete it in safe mode. to do that keep pressing the F8 key on boot. if you can't delete it in safe mode try a program called unlocker. it will allow you to delete anything on your system. |
