When clicking on any folder in My Computer the "Search" and "Open" choices show "Search" as top choice with "Open" below. Many times when clciking instead of right mouse button the next window is the Searh Window and  I have to track back to get "Open" Have not been able to find how to reset the choices to what they used to be.
Any help?

Open Windows Explorer and go to Folder Options in the Tools menu.  Click on Folder Options.
That will open the Folder Options dialog.  Click on the File Types tab.  In the Registered file types list, go to the Folder item (it should be near the top).  Click on it and then click on the Advanced button below in the Details section.
That will open the Edit File Type dialog.  Select Open in the Actions list and then click on the Set Default button.  That should put open back as the default.
Mine actually has Explore as the default and not Open.
In Windows Explorer you can tell which one is the default by seeing which one is in bold type on the right click popup menu.  The default item (the one in bold type) is the one that is executed when that item is double clicked on.
