I doubt that they have them on their website.  They come with Windows and each Windows version has a different version of the driver so that the framedyn.dll in Win98 probably will not work on WinXP.  So if you have the WindowsCD or the i386 folder in the Windows directory, look there.  It may be in a cab file or compressed in its own file (in this case it would be called framedyn.dl_).
You can uncompress the framedyn.dl_ file by going to a Command Prompt, finding the folder where framedyn.dl_ is and typing "expand framedyn.dl_ framedyn.dll" (without the quotes).
Be sure to rename the file in System32 before putting the new one there.  That way if you have a problem with the new one, you will still have the old one.
I have had the exact same problem with installing my printer (a Konica Minolta printer).  Somehow I got it installed without that (I think I ignored the error and continued and it worked).

Thanks Ray, Sorry for late reply, got hit with a lot of snow, getting fire wood in & covered etc etc, Peter's google search at  http://www.regvac.com/forum/v-post/b-questions/m-1164562422/post-1/ "Problems with framedyn.dll" took me to how to repair the dll at MSN.........that worked, Lexmark Tech had to spend 2 hours, calling me back also, to finally get the install CD to work. Printer is up & running again. They didn't charge me even tho printer warranty is up.
I did a driver update site recommended by PC World in Sept.........while it was scanning my system, it wiped out drivers, my usb 200 gig 2nd hard drive & my lexmark were 2 of them of a few others, lexmark would not reinstall after that & started getting framedyn.dll error also.
But the programs, SpyBot 1 of them, would open after I closed dll error. After I reinstalled framedyn.dll per msn tech instructions I received no more dll errors.
Sorry, I don't remember that driver update site.

Ray, the msn tech had me get it from dllcache in system32, which I was going to copy & paste, lol, until I got reply from Peter....I wouldn't have been surprised if my more Direct Method, Copy-Paste, worked also. Will look again in my XPHome CD as you said above, when I searched it before with full name it came up zip, but dllcache is good copies of all dll files, will take a look at the dll-files.com site that phobos posted above out of curiousity.....If they want to scan, I won't, not after that Driver site, it was 1 of 2 or 3 that PC World recommended.
Thanks again Very Much for all you do Ray, have been with you for some years, but this was the 1st time I used your forums, will do so again.
Lord Bless you and yours.

Thanks again to all of you for your help,     Terry
