i am an 10 year user of aol.  the  past 4 months, i have been unable to easily log on to aol as in the past.  i continually get an error message that states either (1)46-NPQE or(2) 46-FACC.  after multiple attempts (and time), i am connected.  once connected, i have no problem.  this problem never, never occurs when i log on to yahoo, msn etc..   what in the world is happening
.  the "incompetents" at the aol tech dept spend a great deal of time with me but never correct the problem.  anyone have the solution........besides dumping aol.  

   Have you tried running RegVac?  RegVac has fixed other problems with AOL.  You should just have to run the Novice mode.

aol  i had a simalar problem i gave up on the      
techies and fixed it myself after 3 months of being shipped from 1 to the other i
noted that the ipconfig was maybe the best way round it so i uninstalled aol
reinstalled it took  a note if the adresses in the ipconfig area after the comand  was used
i reinstalled and put in the address
also pinged the site
then put in my drivers  for broadband  and believe it or not it worked
im still on aol  
but the good news was they gave me 6 months free
and i had a phone call from their top man in ireland saying sorry
