I installed IE7 RC1 several weeks ago and found that my HP scanner utilities (HP Director) were not compatible and would not work. I uninstalled IE7 RC 1. Yesterday I installed IE7 and found that the problem had not been fixed in final release of IE7. Anybody else having problems with IE7 and All-IN-Ones or HP Scanners? And what is the connection between a browser and a scanner ?

One of the earlier versions of IE also did not allow you to go back.  If you installed the newer version and then tried uninstalling it and installing the older version (or going back to the older version), it did not work and you had to reinstall Windows.  So that is probably what O.L.GRIFFIN is experiencing.
