I recently purchased the Adobe Audition 2.0 Upgrade, but when I click on the icon I receive the message ( Adobe Audition has encountered a problem and must close). I tried uninstalling and re-installing with the same results. I also tried creating a new User Account and the program worked fine. But I would like for it to work with my original user account. Does anyone have a solution to this problem. My OS is Windows XP Home Edition SP2. I'm also running NAV2005 and ZoneAlarmPro.

Hi dezrich49:

Yikes. I just went to look at the Adobe website, as I had not heard of that program. I hope it is worth it (gulp).

I noticed that they have some forums, and that there is one dedicated to the Audition program. It is located at: http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.1de98f7a/

I did not log-on, as I am not a registered member, but I did browse it for a bit. It doesn't look as friendly as this forum     but it may be your best bet.

If you are lucky, there may be someone here that knows about Adobe products, or more specifically, the Adobe Audition. Otherwise, you may be condemned to working your way through the Adobe support system / forum / user groups. I wish you luck!

I just installed the upgrade myself and it recognized my auth/serial/activation. Try re-registering your product using the telephone activation. If it still doesn't work then call Adobe. They have an awesome tech support. Just make sure you have your authorization/serial ready.
