Ray, thanks for the info. I already knew about copying the dbx files but it is a bit more complicated than that. First you have to find the right dbx file, copy it, set up a new Outlook Express folder (e.g. "Resued Inbox"), find the storage location for "Rescued Inbox", rename the recovered Inbox dbx folder as "Rescued Inbox.dbx" and then copy this to the storage location of Rescued Inbox.
I was wondering if anybody wrote an backup utility program to do this?
