Hi All,

When I upgraded to the latest Windows Defender, my cursor selection went haywire. For instance, when I clicked on a single icon on my Desktop, ten or more icons became 'selected'. Also, when I clicked on a single message in my Outlook Express, a whole bunch of messages became selected. It was a nightmare.

My only solution has been to go into the msconfig, select the Services tab and un-select (remove the check) for the startup of the Defender. Now all is back to normal.
