Thank you for all the good questions above. The answer is yes to all of them. The exact error that displays when I try to change to the new drivers is that is can't find the node to install. It installs about 60% before is gives the error message. I really tried to reinstall the BJC6000 printer, but finally called in my computer Tech. person. He could not reinstall it either. Then he turned the printer around and found a part of the paper feeder/roller broken away from the unit and flopping each time a piece of paper tried to feed. He unplugged it, said something under his breath like (garbage), and the last I saw of it was the printer being pulled down the hallway by its power cord. I was really attached to that printer and it made me very sad. I ordered the new iP4300, and just my luck, the new version had not been delivered yet. Here I sit with no printer, again! Thanks for trying! MawmawT |
