Windows is always on drive C, unless you specify that it is to be installed on another drive. You want to RIGHT click on DRIVE C, NOT the Windows folder. This should bring up the context menu, i.e. the menu with open, explore, search ... and at the very bottom of the menu...properties. When you choose properties, you should get a window with tabs that say general, tools, hardware, etc. Choose the tools tab and the first choice is error checking. That is where you can set up the check disk program to run on your next reboot. |
