Do the 2.4ghz wireless phones really interfere with reception from wireless routers?  I have to buy a new phone/answering machine, but have been told (years ago) to stay away from the 2.4ghz models.

After a google search, I would have to say the answer is yes. There are posts on many forums of interference with wireless routers by 2.4 ghz wireless phones.

Thanks.  I'll move on to the 5.8ghz variety.

when someone is on the phone I loose my internet connection have to wait till they hang up. I cannot wait to replace my phones.
