How do I remove something from starting up?  This computer uses windows 2000. I know with xp I can go to run and put in msconfig, but I unfortunatly have no idea how to do this with 2000.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Mike Lin has a free program for Windows 2000 called Startup Control Panel that allows you to control all startup programs.

This page explains its use and allows you to download it.
Much more convenient than searching through the registry for the startup items in Win2000
