I read today that it is possible to install Microsoft Backup in my PC , which runs WinXP SP2 Home. Would I gain anything in having this extra facility please, given that I already have WinRescue XP?

My PC is only used for domestic purposes and producing copy for our monthly church magazine.

Many thanks!

It has been a long time since I have used MSBackup, but as I remember, MSBackup only backs up what you tell it to back up.  It seems to me that you could use it to back up the system files, but it backs up way more than it needs to back up and then does not work when you need it to restore the system.
You are better off with WinRescue (see http://superwin.com/rescuemenu.htm).
