Got a message after WinXP (SP2) started that stated " Tsystray.EXE - unable to locate equipment. Also sez-this application failed to start because PNCRT.dll was not found. Reinstalling may fix the problem.
How do I find out what application it's referring to?  This suddenly occurred but have not had any functions that would have caused this.
Many thaks for your help.

Apparently this dll is used by Real Player.
Check this article in the Microsoft data base.

Go to Start/Run type in msconfig, ok when that opens click on the Startup tab, find the offender and uncheck it, Apply and reboot. Tick the small box that comes up in the ensuing message and you shouldn't see it again.

Of course if you want to get rid of the program and it's little nasties then that is another story.
