> How do I get rid of unwanted pop ups when I am using Internet Explorer? I normally use Firefox but sometimes when I have to click on a link it opens in IE.

There are many companies that have free popup blockers which install as an addon to Internet Explorer and will show up as an extra line of buttons at the top of your browser.  Some that I have used were from Google (http://www.google.com) and PayPal (http://www.paypal.com).
You could probably do a search on the internet for "free popup blocker" and find a lot more.
