If, like me, you regularly install and uninstall programmes, then re-install Windows when it all goes horribly wrong, this may take some of the drudgery out of re-installing programmes:

you can usually 'copy' the password (unlock code or whatever) from the file you keep it in, but then find you cannot right-click and 'paste'. This leaves you with the irksome task of copying it bit by bit.

However, you will find that you can paste still by using Ctrl+V (just like you would if we were still using DOS)
