Hi, Trying to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows XP using an XP CD that came with an older laptop I had. The last time I tried, I was able to create a new hard drive partition and install XP on it, but I couldn't get back to windows 7 once I did. I also couldn't access the internet; I think I may have not had the right drivers for the laptop I have. So I rebooted from Windows 7 CD. I think it may have had something to do with my bootloader being deleted? I am new to this kind of thing so any help is appreciated.

Last I knew, if you create a new harddrive partition on a drive, it will remove everything on that drive and you will end up with two empty partitions.
