Consecutive runs of my RegVac in Win7 removed 1290, then 119, then 19, then 17 and 17 and 17 and 17 etc. Whether I boot or not, RegVac will always remove exactly 17 items now. All of the above has been experienced during the last few hours of continuously running RegVac and nothing else.

Is malware putting these 17 entries back into the registry immediately after RegVac removes them? ..even without rebooting. Or is this normal?

Coincidence?.. just prior to running RegVac the first time, my Bitdefender full system scan found exactly 17 threats before crashing with a "services not available" error coded message. My Bitdefender has never crashed before.

A New Bible Built with Modern Technology

New Testament - Breakthrough Version

The Breakthrough Version achieves a much higher level of accuracy. It is:

  • more literal
  • more precise
  • more contemporary
  • more correct
  • more consistent

This Bible even translates hundreds of forgotten Greek words that no other Bible does.

It is an essential tool for Bible teachers and students, yet it is easy to read, even for newbies.

That is normal.  Most likely Windows or some other program is keeping those 17 entries from being removed.  There is nothing you can do about it.  When other bad entries are in the registry, RegVac will report more than 17.
I doubt the 17 in Bitdefender has anything to do with the 17 in RegVac, but who knows.
