I want to get the system restored in xp but the computer in normal windows didnot respond. when i get it in safe mode it gets slower about one hour to restore but still does not work ,, i  m fedup about it anyone got the solution... so please...............

   All you are doing in restore is going back to what the system was like when the backup you are restoring was made.  System Restore does not fix anything unless it is something that was broken since the backup was made.
   There is no way that I know of to fix the system without a backup.  About the only thing you can do is reinstall Windows as a new install (which will wipe everything from your computer).  If you even have that option.
