Is there a setting that I can adjust so that my external hard drive doesnt have to be disconnected everytime I restart the pc..  If that makes any sense.. LOL ... Thanks!!

Hi --- If you have a powered USB External hard drive, only power it up when you want to use it. Leave the USB connection alone. If there is no power to it the system will not see it. Turn it on and the system will recognize it. If you want to turn it off you then can use the disconnect icon on the task bar. Remember to always leave the USB connection in the same port all the time. Remember the system will only see the drive when you turn on it's power. Hope this helps.
