My PC  (XP) is plagued with SCRIPTS that keep coming up, tying up the system and hindering work.  All my attempts to run down the issue come up blank.

  Message is this "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete."
