I just wanted to let everyone know that I had to uninstall the AVG 9.0 suites from both my XP Computers. In addition to causing problems with WinrescueXP and REGVAC it deactivated Windows Defender. It also had hooks in my browsers where it always wanted me to use its search engine. My CPU always seemed to be running as well as my hard drive. The applications took forever to load and surfing on the web was very slow. Installed AVIRA on both machines and now WinrescueXP and Regvac run and respond very well. It is like I just purchased a new machine. What has happened to AVG? Comments are welcome. Tnanks....        

I've had similar problems with AVG9 so I've gone back to using AVG8.

try avaira anti-virus rather then AVg its gud AVg make the window heavy day by day that's Y i removed it and install avaira its better then AVG
