I recently disconnected my second SATA hard drive. The other SATA drive is my "C" drive and has Windows XP and most of my software and data on the "C" partition. of this disk I have now replaced the second SATA drive. It is showing in the BIOS and I have used the Auto detect procedure to detect the drive. However it steadfastly refuses to appear within Windows. Nothing shows in Device Manager or in Disk Management. as it is a Seagate drive ,I have also tried Seagate's Disk Wizard (this brings up Acronis the same as my installed Acronis backup program). I have removed disks before and replaced them with no problem. This has got me perplexed. Any ideas? Regards All, Wychwar |
