Recently we loaded Norton Internet security 360 on our desktop, and now find that we can not go to Norton's LiveUpdate, we are not able to update norton software. error message is that: LiveUpdate has failed, please check internet connections. We are able to use the internet, just not update security software.
today talked with Norton/Symatec they say they saw or found that our DNS has poisoning. our ISP is AT&T we have U-verse and wireless router/ desktop is cabled to router. but, talked to AT&T they were not able to help or had no answers for me.
i did an internet search found similar problem, no solutions?. it seems the DNS poisoning is AT&T issue, the "farming" affects any security software from doing live updates....thanks.,,
