Hi everybody, I'm again on this point where in pure despair one asks for help. I got a bluescreen saying there was a problem with some hardware. I suspect it was my keyboard or mouse with USB-infrared connection. Then things became more and more problematic. I changed the KB and mouse, went into the bootup with delete/F8 but during choosing between menus or to go back to the default, the computer freezes everytime. I have a XP recovery disk with the PE.Barth system but it doesn't work as the disk never boots up and I got stuck up before, Now what to do? I even cannot install a new boot or something. After having tried all kinds of things the boot-sector seems completely messed up. Someone has a solution to this? I use XP home edition, but have also installed on a different HD the new Windows 7. It run until now without problem, but to boot it I had to put the CD in the tray and then got a boot-menu. In order to boot with XP i had to take the CD out and boot normally. It might also be that this Windows bootsector has detoriated the whole system, who knows? So somehow I have to get this whole thing running again Thanks for any help whatsoever Anashwaran |
