Installed Logitech LX 170 keyboard/mouse - after 2 days windows would not open. MS indicated Logitech problem and workiong on fix. I have ran system restore, etc to no avail. I would deinstall the Logitech sw if I could get in. Logitech was no help.

If you have a registry backup from before the keyboard was installed, you should be able to restore that and that should fix it.

The bad thing about the Restore Points is that Windows does not have a way to restore them from outside of Windows.  That is why I suggest that people use our WinRescue program (http://superwin.com/rescuemenu.htm) to make regular backups.  WinRescue can also restore the registry backup part of Restore Points.  Our XP Recovery CD Maker (http://www.xp-recovery-cd.com/) can make a boot CD that can restore the registry backup part of the Restore Points from outside of Windows.  Whether these will work or not, I don't know.
The only other thing I could suggest is to reinstall Windows over the current Windows.  It should keep all of your settings and it may work.
