Hi All,
I am new here and hope i can get the help i need.  I have a desktop with xp on it. It has the printer plugged into it.  I have a bellsouth dsl wireless router attached to it.   I also have a new laptop with Vista on it.  I have no problem connecting to the internet through the wireless router but i cannot seem to get the laptop and desktop to network each other even though i have tried so many different things, including getting info on the internet on how to do this. The main thing i want to do is network the printer.  Can someone give me step by step instructions on how i can do this?  Thanks in advance.   Gary

I think that you are going to have to hook the printer to the router and not to the computer.  This may or may not be possible with your printer (your printer will have to have an ethernet port).
If it is possible, you will probably have to specify an IP address for the printer.  The IP address has to be in the range of the router's IP address.
