I have been having some bad graphics problems & no one seems to have an answer! I bought my system just over a year ago & spent good money on it! I'm using a Pentium 3.2 Ghz assus m/board, 3Gigs Ram, 120 G HD 7200 my graphics card is an "nvidia gforce 6800" which I paid over $500.00 for. I'm using a Dell Ultrasharp 19" Monitor! My problems seem to be around Autodesk Inventor & Solidworks which are both 3d modelling software. Sometimes my display gets so scratchy looking I can barely make out the Menu buttons! When I close a dialogue sometimes the outline is still there with the scratches inside it! Sure sounds like a graphics card problem! I've tried every driver combination possible. Any Ideas would be well appreciated. I know that this card is not one of the recommended cards for these modelling software programs but others have used them & not had this problem. I've done Virus Scan, Defrag. Appreciate any feedback from anyone who might have experienced this problem! TIA Paul |
