HealthCare.gov is a major part of the Affordable Health Care Act (famously known as ObamaCare).  It is a website where people can go to find health insurance.
The Administration in all of its wisdom thought that the reason so many people did not have health insurance is that they did not know how to find an insurance agent and purchase health insurance from him.  So the Obama administration spent over 600 million dollars ($600,000,000) of our hard earned money to put this website up.
Can you believe that?  600+ million dollars for a website no one really needs.    How can the news media not report on this?  How can the Democrats not be angry about this?  The Democrats are supposed to be on our side.
This is how a rich society provides health care for the masses.  They throw someone else's money at the problem and expect the problem to be solved.  If it does not work, they throw more money at it.  They don't care that they are throwing around record amounts of money, it is not their money.
Any other business would have paid a few thousand dollars to get the same website.
Never mind that the website does not work and now they are spending even more money to fix/rebuild it.
The website is the poster child of ObamaCare.  Just as ObamaCare, it provides a service that is not needed, does it at a huge price, and brags that America could not have survived without it.  The dirty little secret is that everything ObamaCare provides could have been done for free or at very little cost.
The news media is strangely silent about this.  They mention that the website does not work (that is obvious to everyone) but they never mention how much it costs us, how incompetent the whole system (not just the website) is, and how many millions of people do not want ObamaCare.
600 million dollars is just a drop in the bucket of how much this "Affordable" program is going to cost Americans.  It is something we do not need and it is something that will end up breaking us.
Now that a few people have been let in to see the sparkling, new, "affordable" policies, we are finding out that the policies actually provide less coverage at a much higher price (another fact that the news does not mention).  Yet, the blind Democrats and their cronies walk around talking about how they are such great humanitarians for providing affordable health insurance for everyone.  Liars.
If you do not like this, too bad, you are required to purchase this expensive health insurance.  It does not matter that you do not have enough money to feed your children, at least they will be insured.  It does not matter that it does not cover most of the health care bills you will incur.  It does not matter that you are healthy and health insurance is a waste of money for you, you will have to fork out the money.  Cancel that vacation.  The money will go to purchase "affordable" health insurance that actually costs more and does less.  You can thank Barak Obama and the Democrats.
You also will be required to pay for the website and the cost of this program's failures.  I can guarantee it will not be affordable.
We are not in the land of freedom anymore, Toto.
