I have windows xp pro. and a 400 mhz Intel processor but for some strange reason the system folder and the setup (before boot) shows 200 mhz???? Intel celeron? ( I know for a fact that it is straight Intel 400 Mhz because I installed it myself)
I tried to manipulated it on the setup page with no success!
Any sugestions?
Thank you

John

Go to the Intel website, they have a utility you can download that will tell you the speed of your processor.
Also have a look at this knowledge base article, apparently reporting the correct processor speed can be a problem in WinXP.
