I am planning to upgrade my desktop from Windows XP Home to XP Professional in order to use remote desktop from my laptop.  Has anyone done this?  Is there anything I should look out for during the upgrade?  Will my existing software that works with XP Home be still compatible with XP Pro?  Where can I find detailed instructions on how to activate and use remote desktop?

I have not done that but I don't think that there will be any problems with compatibility between the two or anything to look out for.
