Hiya, Everyone!

I've got two problems cropped up of late since re-installing Win98SE. Can anyone help?

1. Every time I boot into the Desktop I get the New Hardware Wizard twice asking me for the location of 'Unknown Devices' (which, of course, is unknown!) and refusing to continue on into the full Desktop until I cancel. I've tried various uninstalls but it always comes back.

2. When left-clicking on the Desktop (to get into Properties, for instance) I get the message "Message to DEVS: Shell: Calling root key before nview.dll is loaded" (nview is part of nVidia)

Are there any unknown devices shown in the device manager?
From that error message, it sounds as if your video driver has problems, this may be the source of the initial error.
