I use control-c to copy data and enter the same. Is there a econd set of keys that will allow me to save an additional series of letters or numbers without erasing the original control-c? thanks, bill

   No.
   I think Vista allows you to paste many items.  I don't think that it is done by pressing an additional set of keys.
   There is software available that will do that.  Try looking for "multiple clipboards" on Download.com (here is a link to do that - http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-20&qt=multiple%20clipboards&tag=srch.  Not everything in the list will do multiple pastes, but several of them will.  I have not tried any of them.
   Software like that would be easy enough to write.  Let me know if you don't find anything good for that.
