when I try to uninstall a program I have, I get a message from install shield and it won't let me uninstall it. what can I do?

   That happens because some of the files for that program are missing.  Try installing that program to the same place that it already is.  That will put those needed files where they need to be.  Then you should be able to uninstall it.

I don't have the original program. I downloaded it off the internet 5 yrs. ago. I wrote the co. but they just give me the run around. It's pc booster and it's now causing problems on my pc.

Do they have a current version that you can download?  If so, try installing it and then uninstalling it.  That may work.

Yes they did, I had to pay them another $15.00 to get their garbage off my pc. I was the stupid one for buying it in the first place. It was an inkline global product I picked up 5 yrs. ago when I first got my pc. I know better now. Hey thanks though you were a great help.
