I don't know what I've done!  For the past 3 days, I can't open my HP IMAGE ZONE, which is where I store my photographs.  I get the error message: execution engine error, etc.  I also can't open HP DOCUMENT VIEWER.  I have a new computer as of January, using Windows XP Prof. Edition.  Is there a fix for this?  Thanks in advance for your help.

According to it, the .NET framework installation is corrupted.
Uninstall it and reinstall.
You can download .NET from Microsoft here.

Thank you, dlwolff0 for your reply.  I went to "start-run" and typed in "installer"  and found that I have:

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 RTL x 86 enu

I went to add/remove programs and didnt find anything at all to do with .NET framework to UNinstall.

I need to  uninstall it first before I can re-install it, am I correct?  I need specific instructions as to what to do next.  I can follow directions but as far as knowing what I'm doing, that's "not happening."

Thank you again for your help.

This article tells how to uninstall it manually, but also gives a way to repair it.

The manual uninstall gets a little complicated, so try the repair method first, it's very simple. Hopefully it will work.

My problem was solved by UNinstalling all HP software and REinstalling it again.  No more error messages.  Thanks for your help.
