Hello, I am trying to use Win Rescue to do a back-up to a CD Disc. I formated the disc and set the parameters in Win-Rescue. When I click "Back-Up", the program says, "insert a disc". One is already in there, and I eject in and put it in again - still - I get the same message. What am I doing wrong?

Windows XP has a bug in it where it stops recognizing that a disc is in the drive.  This is not a problem with WinRescue.  I don't know that there is a solution to this.  You can try opening and shutting the CD tray.  You can try restarting the computer.  Or you may just have to wait a few days until it starts working again.

Ray - thank you! All of a sudden it started working - as you said.
